When I became a wife and mother of two I knew I wanted to make traveling a priority. In my eyes the quality time, learning, and fulfilment that came from traveling wasn’t a want… it was a need. We were a young family with small funds so this meant some level of sacrifice in order for us to travel at least once a year. We ate pasta over prime rib and skipped the pedicures and expensive hair appointments. We budgeted travel expenses into our monthly budget and didn’t waiver. That allowed us to take family vacations and mini parent getaways to Walt Disney World yearly (sometimes more), New Orleans, Clearwater Beach, Dallas, Charleston, Nantucket, and more!

As we became more established in our careers and smashed our piles of student debt our traveling became more frequent and bucket list kept growing. Others came to me often for traveling advice, tips, how to book, and more. I grew a passion for helping others plan some amazing vacations with their families and knew I had to do this in a bigger way. After being in the travel industry as a travel agent for about 3 years I was able to make my dream of operating my own travel agency a reality! That is how Modern Family Travel LLC was born and I can’t wait to help you turn your dream vacations into a reality!

Favorite Destination Visited: My favorite destination I visited was London, England, not only is the city full of life, culture, and rich history, but visiting the Warner Brothers Studios where they filmed all 8 Harry Potter Films was a game-changer. These movies were created during a pivotal point in my childhood being the same age as the actors I was able to escape to the wizarding world throughout my entire adolescents, standing where they stood was a very emotional journey and it will live on to be one of the best tourist’s experiences, I have ever seen.  

Bucket List Vacation: My bucket list dream vacation is to visit every Disney and Universal Park in the entire world. But I would except just hitting Asia, visiting Japan’s Disneyland, and experiencing Beast Castle in person would be the ultimate trip.

My Why: My childhood was filled with camping and beach trips, but because of our circumstances, destination trips were not an option for our family. Becoming a mother, I wanted to be different for my children, I wanted to make sure we started cultivating those memories from a young age. I made vacations a priority for my family and now I can help others do the same, I believe in the here and now is what’s most important, if we don’t take every opportunity then those precious moments may never happen. The hardest thing to do is live with regret.

Bucket List Vacation: Toss-up between Alaska and Germany. 

My Why: My love for travel and Disney started at a very young. My Dad was, as I call it, “Disney Obsessed” so I had to privilege of visiting the parks regularly. My love for Disney grew as I did. During college I followed my love for travel and became a flight attendant. During that time, I had the privilege of seeing the country on a whole new level. It always led me back to Disney. Fast forward to now. I’m a wife and a Mom of two. My family regularly visits Disney and although my husband didn’t grow up frequenting the most magical place on earth, I like to say he’s become more “obsessed” than me. I’ve been planning trips for clients since 2018 and love it more and more as the trips go by! I can’t wait to work for future clients in helping them plan their dream vacation.

My Why: I have a passion and love for planning events and traveling. Helping others be able to enjoy their dream vacations taking away the stress of planning is my purpose. I love knowing that I’m able to help each and everyone of my clients not only encounter travel together, but broaden their minds when seeing the world and creating a chance for them to spend quality time together while experiencing and creating endless memories.

My Why: I love to travel. I started going to the Jersey shore with my family when I was little. It was something we did every year and for a few years my grandparents lived there.  I looked forward to it each summer. Our big family trip when I was younger was Disney World. I remember being old enough that my parents let my sister and I go to Magic Kingdom ourselves! Up until recently I had never been to an island because I always thought I wouldn’t be able to afford it. I now know that it can be affordable and I make it my goal to travel some place tropical once a year. I want to help people realize travel can be affordable and help them plan their dream vacation that they thought would only ever be a dream.

My Why: Every time I get to travel to Disney World a whole world of excitement and anticipation builds! The joy I get from the build up pushed me to want to help others! I truly believe everyone should visit Disney once and create their perfect personalized trip and I want to make that happen!

My Why: Vacation planning has always been in my nature and something I love to do. I have always been the planner for any trips with friends and family. After traveling out of the country for the first time (and second time) in 2021, I realized I have a huge desire to see more of the world. My husband and I had done a lot of domestic travel but had never left the country prior to our trip to Mexico in 2021. Once I started researching everywhere I wanted to go, I realized I also would love to help others plan their dream trips as well!

My Why: Ever since I was a little girl I have loved to travel. You can blame the yearly trips to Disney World for my addiction to it. Since then I have become passionate about booking our own vacations as well as family and friends. Knowing how overwhelming the planning process can be, it brings me great joy being able to help others see a new or old destination without the hassle. Making memories should be the only thing you have to worry about and I’m here to help you with that.

Bucket List Vacation: ASIA. I’d love to knock all of the Disney Theme Parks off my bucket list and spend an entire month in Asia. Visiting Japan, Hong Kong, Shanghai and hop over to the beaches of Thailand.

My Why: I am in a forever state of wanderlust. I got my first passport at 2 months old, and I have been traveling ever since. My friends and family always come to me for traveling advice. Vacation planning has always been something I find joy in doing. It never seems like work for me. Along with my personal experience, I also have a professional background as a previous guest relations hostess at the Walt Disney World Resort (2011-2014). My # 1 goal is to make sure you and your family will have a remarkable vacation to remember. Life is short, the world is wide, let’s make some memories.

My Why: You will never learn more about yourself and others than when you travel. So many people are just trapped in their own little world and never experience other cultures outside of a textbook. You never know how traveling with change you until you do it!

My Why: Travel is more than a destination or a journey.  It’s about experiences with strangers/friends/family; things you can’t learn in a book or on the internet.  Travel has provided me and my family experiences and education that I have enjoyed sharing with others.  It’s time to take this knowledge and help you reach your travel goals, allowing you time to explore, relax, and reconnect knowing that your trip has been taken care of.
